What coaching includes

You lead. I help you follow through.

Every program moves through three phases: Hear it, Trust it, Choose it. The structure keeps us moving forward. What we work on inside it comes from you.

The foundations

Your first session is where we begin to hear whose voice has been making your decisions.

Your answers, not mine

I won't tell you what to do. I ask the questions that help you figure out what you want.

Adjusted as you go

Each session builds on the last. We check what's working, and if something isn't, we change it.

What Clients Say

Here's what happened once people started trusting themselves.

"I was hesitant at first because I worried I'd be told what to do or pushed into a decision or understanding that wasn't really mine. Instead, the sessions gave me the space to find my own answers. One of the biggest shifts was gaining clarity about different aspects of myself, which helped me think through a lot of major things. What I appreciated most about Shayna's coaching style was that they never told me what to do. They asked guiding questions that helped me uncover and gain clarity, and to be able to come to my own conclusions."

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

Adults who feel stuck, blocked, or unsure their next move is their own. Many have rebuilt their lives after leaving religion, coming out, or another big change; many haven't. This is an affirming space, and no particular background is needed to start.

Are you going to tell me what to do?

No. You've had enough of that. My job is to help you hear what you already know, not to hand you a new set of rules. I ask questions, reflect back what I hear, and help you test your own answers on real decisions.

Will you understand where I'm coming from?

I've been there myself. I left the religion I grew up in and came out as queer, so I know what it's like to rebuild a life from the inside out. This is an affirming space, and everything you share stays confidential.

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. Most people I work with don't, at least not yet. Usually they have a sense that something needs to change, and that's plenty to start with. Figuring out what you actually want is part of the work.

What will we actually work on?

Whatever decision you're stuck on. For some clients it's a career they're not sure they want anymore. For others it's a question about partnership or kids, or how to show up with family. Different situations, same root: learning to trust your own voice.

I'm already in therapy. Can I do coaching too?

Yes, and many clients do. Coaching is built for moving forward: making decisions, finding direction, and building what's next. If anything comes up that needs a therapist's support, I'll tell you and help you find the right person.

How much does coaching cost?

One-on-one coaching is $1,700 for 12 sessions over 3 months, or 3 payments of $600. The Kol Atzmi Circle is $450 for 6 weeks, with early-bird pricing of $395 for waitlist members. A limited number of reduced-rate seats are available for people with financial need: you apply, and I set a rate with you. Not sure which fits? We'll figure it out together in your free Discovery Call.

How do I know which option is right for me?

You don't have to figure that out on your own. In your free Discovery Call, we'll talk about what's going on, what kind of support you want, and your timeline. Then we'll decide together whether 1:1, the Circle, or something else is the best fit.

Do I have to give up my traditions or cut off my family?

No. This work isn't about rejecting anything. It's about sorting out what's actually yours. Some clients keep traditions they love, some set new boundaries with family, and some do both. You decide what stays.
